  • Work Hours: Monday- Friday 7am-4pm

Role Description – Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

This position will provide a safe, orderly, and clean working environment in the Shared Services Center in Alpharetta, GA by facilitating a productive environment for office meetings and functions. The secondary function is to perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Primary Functions:

  • 25% – Provide food service catering support
  • 35% – Provide meeting setup and support
  • 15% – Receiving, sorting and shipping mail and packages
  • 5% – Backup coverage to assist with guest/vendor access and housekeeping/maintenance responsibilities as needed
  • 10% – Maintain supplies in copy rooms
  • 10% – Janitorial services as needed

 

  • Provide Excellent customer service to employees, visitors and, guest
  • Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Perform various clerical duties as requested by Facilities Department
  • Handle day-to-day mail and packaging system
  • Schedule, order and confirm all catering orders for the facility as requested
  • Place maintenance request with building personnel as requested by employees
  • Maintain Facilities department calendar for meetings and hospitality needs
  • Always maintain professional demeanor while representing the company
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Minimum two years’ Customer Service experience; experience in a corporate environment a plus
  • Knowledge of facility systems to identify problematic conditions

Work Requirements

  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
  • Ability to work flexible work hours as needed
  • Ability to drive rental vehicles, including trucks/vans/towing, as needed to move equipment and supplies
  • Must be willing to travel between Alpharetta and Dunwoody offices as needed. Mileage will be reimbursed.
